On Wednesday February 21 SWE-ECI partnered with P&G Beauty Care to complete our annual EWeek Technical Tour. P&G Beauty Care Manufacturing Site in Iowa City makes and packs popular P&G products like Olay & Old Spice Body Wash, Pantene & Aussie & Old Spice & Native Shampoo and Conditioner, and Crest & Scope Mouth Wash. SWE-ECI learned about the bottle filling, capping, and labeling processes. We got an inside look to the sustainability efforts P&G is working on in regards to making and packaging their product. Thank you to our wonderful tour guides at P&G Beauty Care for sharing the ins and outs of making and bottling all sorts of liquid products!
After the Technical Tour the group headed over to Big Grove Iowa City for some great networking! It was a great time getting to know new members and catch up with the old!
