2019 Daisy & Sr. Girl Scout Day

Come have a fun Saturday and share why you love being an engineer by volunteering with SWE-ECI and Collins Aerospace for 'Code Like a Girl Scout' Activities with Senior Girl Scouts and 'Design Your World' Activities with Daisy Girl Scouts!

​Teach 9th and 10th grade Senior Girl Scouts about programming and robotics through fun and educational, hands-on activities, including building and programming their own robot!

Or teach 1st grade Daisy Girl Scouts and underprivileged girls about what robots are and help them program a basic robot!

Volunteers are needed to lead the Girl Scouts through the design and building process. Additional volunteers are also needed to showcase different types of programming/cool engineering at the beginning of the event and during the provided lunch.
 
What: SWE-ECI Sr. Girl Scout Day
When: Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 from 8am - 3pm for Sr. Girl Scouts
                                                                  8 am - 1 pm for Daisy Girl Scouts
Where: Kirkwood-Linn County Regional Center
             1770 Boyson Rd
             Hiawatha, IA 52233

Training for the volunteers will be performed before the official start of the event.​
