On June 5th, 2021, Tanager Place hosted their 30th annual Summer Fest at the Collins Aerospace Sports Complex. For the past 29 years, Tanager Place has successfully carried out this event which is always packed with fun filled, interactive no charge activities for children and families to enjoy. However, with the onset of the pandemic, the event had to adapt to the new normal and morphed into a drive-thru experience. Activity bags were picked up which were filled with all sorts of crafts and STEAM activities.
The SWE-ECI section sponsored a fun marble maze activity that were included in the bags, and we had volunteers who helped leading up to and at the amazing event.
