Girl Scouts of Eastern Central Iowa are hosting their annual Journey the World event – an immersive cultural fair that highlights the rich diversity of our world and the people who make it so vibrant. SWE ECI will be hosting a booth and we are looking for volunteers to help Katie Allen run the booth. Our booth will be doing a  ‘Code a Necklace’ activity where the participants get to code their name in ASCII and then use beads to represent the binary and create a necklace or bracelet. 

Journey the World will take place on Saturday, April 5th, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you are interested in volunteering for SWE’s booth please fill out the form below.
