Join SWE-ECI this April for our Book Club!

Last month members of the SWE ECI community met up to talk about The Book of Hope by Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams. This book was very insightful on ways to look forward into the future during difficult times. Although SWE Book club was an annual event in past years, because of continued interest the section has decided to pick another book! This month we will be reading The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohllenben.

SWE-ECI will not be providing book reimbursements this year. The Cedar Rapids Library has copies available to rent, including through Libby. Local bookstores including Next Page Books in NewBo, I’ll Meet You There in Czech Village (Cedar Rapids), and Swamp Fox Books (Marion) may provide copies for purchase, in addition to online retailers. The audiobook is also available for free on Hoopla (through the Cedar Rapids Library) and on Spotify if you have a premium subscription!
