Come participate for a Saturday or enjoy an overnight! Share your engineering and leadership skills by building storage with Senior Girl Scouts.

What: Annual SWE-ECI Sr. Girl Scout Day
When: Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 8am-430pm*
Where: Camp Liberty, New Liberty, IA

​Teach 6th - 12th grade Girl Scouts about engineering through the service project and educational activity of building storage solutions in one of the units (housing areas).  We are anticipating up to 20 girl scouts will be attending, so we would love your help. We will have optional Zoom meetings starting in November prior to the event: to let the girls work within a budget and set of requirements to determine their design and compile materials*. The girls will be there the Friday before to socialize and finalize plans*.

We are also looking for help with materials. Donations of funds, lumber, bolts, screws, safety glasses, hand tools (will return) and power tools (will return) are appreciated!

*Volunteers are MORE than welcome to join in the planning Zooms, and/or hang out the Friday before. Showers, flushies, food, heat and bunk beds are included in accommodations. Note: Camp Liberty is about an hour away from all locations.
