FIRST LEGO League 2018 - Volunteers Needed!
Do you want to inspire Iowa kids in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math?
Celebrate student teams’ amazing, learning experiences? Want to enjoy your Saturday
with some grateful kids?
We would like to invite you and your company to join our volunteer team for our
FIRST ® LEGO® League Regional Event on November 10th (approx. 8am to 1 pm)
in Cedar Rapids!
Where: Prairie Point Middle School, 8015 Kirkwood Blvd.
FIRST LEGO League is a worldwide program in its 19th year of getting children eager
to learn science, technology, engineering, and math. FLL helps children develop skills in
problem-solving, teamwork, strategizing, and creative thinking.
3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF! This year’s challenge is all space exploration. Teams will research
problems humans face as we explore our solar system, create or improve a solution,
and share their solutions with others.
You can help! Volunteers are what makes these FLL events succeed. You can help
inspire kids to be interested in science, technology, and learning.
